MEET THE PASTOR
Edgar J. Butler, Sr.
Elder Edgar Butler’s faith journey is a testament to his unwavering commitment to advancing the Kingdom of God. He was baptized in the name of Jesus on April 19, 1991, and received the gift of the Holy Ghost on January 24, 1993, under the leadership of Pastor Annie Mae Wood at Emmanuel Assembly Church of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW).
Answering the call to ministry in 1994 while serving faithfully at Emmanuel Assembly Church in Washington, DC, Elder Butler obtained his ministerial license through the World Assemblies of Restoration (WAR) under Bishop James Nelson, Sr Presiding Prelate . He later became a licensed Elder with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW) and was ordained under the Apostolic Faith Fellowship International (AFFI) under Bishop Charles Johnson Presiding prelate.
